Dublin Zoo first opened in 1838 and it had over 20,000 visitors, which is still the current attendance record. It now attracts over half a million visitors each year and is home to over 200 different animals and birds.
The zoo is spread out over 30 acres of parkland and it is split into different sections with a reptile area, South American house, arctic enclosure and African area among others. You will have the chance to see everything from a Golden Lion to an Asian elephant at what is sure to be a fun day out. |
